Terms of Service

This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Korean version is the binding text; if the two differ, the Korean version prevails.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the UpNChat mobile app and related services (the "Service") provided by Jaroma (the "Company"), and the rights and obligations of the Company and its users.

Article 2 (Scope of the Service)

• Publishing or scheduling photos, videos and captions to the social accounts the user has connected (Instagram, Threads, TikTok and others) in one step
• Collecting the comments posted on those accounts' content so the user can read, reply to, hide or delete them
• Push notifications for publishing results and new comments

The Service uses only the official integration methods (APIs) each platform makes available. Some features may be limited by a platform's policies, maintenance or outages.

Article 3 (Accounts and Connected Social Accounts)

• Users sign up with Kakao, Apple, Google or email verification. Persons under 14 years of age may not sign up.
• A social account is connected only within the scope the user expressly allows on that platform's own authorization screen, and the connection can be removed at any time from the app's settings or from the platform's settings.
• One social account can be connected to only one UpNChat account. If the same social account is connected from another UpNChat account, the earlier connection is removed and the earlier user is notified.

Article 4 (User Responsibilities)

• Users must hold the rights to the photos, videos and text they publish, and must comply with each platform's community rules and applicable law.
• Users are responsible for the content and consequences of posts and comments published through the Service.
• Signing up or connecting accounts with another person's credentials, or abusing the Service with automation tools, is prohibited.

Article 5 (Publishing and File Retention)

• Publishing follows each platform's format, size and length limits, which the app explains in advance.
• Uploaded files are deleted from the Company's storage 7 days after publishing finishes. Posts already published to a platform are not affected.
• Posts can be scheduled up to 30 days ahead, with up to 30 scheduled posts at a time (changes will be announced in the app).

Article 6 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)

The Company may change or suspend all or part of the Service for maintenance, platform policy changes, outages or similar reasons, and will give advance notice in the app where possible.

Article 7 (Fees)

The Service is currently free of charge. Before any paid feature is introduced, these Terms will be revised and consent will be obtained in the app.

Article 8 (Account Termination)

Users may terminate immediately from Settings → Delete account in the app. On termination, connected social accounts are disconnected and stored files, comments and account information are deleted (see the Privacy Policy for details).

Article 9 (Limitation of Liability)

The Company is not liable for publishing failures or delays caused by a platform's outages, policy changes or review results, nor for damages caused by the user. Damages caused by the Company's wilful misconduct or gross negligence are governed by applicable law.

Article 10 (Dispute Resolution)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The Daegu District Court has jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute.

These Terms take effect on 2026-10-06. (Terms version: 2026-10-06)
